Location: Dallas, TX (Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Job Summary
The End User Computing (EUC) Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise end-user computing environments. The role focuses on modern workplace technologies including desktop virtualization, endpoint management, mobility, collaboration platforms, and endpoint security. The architect will collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to deliver scalable and secure EUC solutions that enhance the employee digital experience.
Key Responsibilities
EUC Architecture & Strategy
- Design and implement enterprise EUC architecture including physical desktops, virtual desktops, and mobile devices.
- Define EUC roadmap aligned with business and IT strategy.
- Create architecture diagrams, technical standards, and design documentation.
- Evaluate new technologies and recommend modern workplace solutions.
Endpoint & Device Management
- Architect endpoint management solutions using tools such as:
- Microsoft Intune
- SCCM / MECM
- Autopilot
- Mobile Device Management (MDM)
- Implement endpoint provisioning, OS imaging, patch management, and software deployment strategies.
Virtual Desktop & Cloud Workplace
- Design and implement VDI/DaaS solutions such as:
- Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops
- VMware Horizon
- Azure Virtual Desktop / Windows 365
- Architect hybrid and cloud-based EUC solutions across Azure or AWS environments.
Security & Compliance
- Implement endpoint security policies including encryption, MFA, conditional access, and device compliance.
- Ensure EUC platforms meet enterprise security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce zero-trust architecture and identity controls.
Collaboration & Workplace Platforms
- Support enterprise collaboration technologies such as:
- Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Identity and access management integrations
- Ensure seamless integration with enterprise applications and infrastructure.
Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to EUC engineering teams.
- Work with infrastructure, networking, and security teams on solution delivery.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for enterprise workplace technologies.
- Lead proof-of-concepts and pilot programs for new EUC technologies.
