Senior Security Engineer - Contract - Remote - $75.00 - $80.00/hr.

Our client is seeking a Senior Security Engineer in for a remote opportunity

Role Description

Responsible for implementing and optimizing cloud solutions to support ISO capabilities. The role involves improving cloud engineering practices and ensuring seamless integration of security tools within the organization's cloud infrastructure.

Onboard and optimize logs from Logstash into SIEM solutions (Sentinel)
Troubleshoot configurations and connectivity issues.
Deploy new functionality using Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform
Maintain intermediary logging tiers in Logstash

Skills & Requirements

6+ years of experience delivering IT/cloud infrastructure projects.
Strong communication skills for collaboration and explaining security issues to non-technical stakeholders.
Expertise in:
Microsoft Sentinel
Kusto Query Language (KQL)
Logstash & Logstash Management
GitHub
DevOps Engineering background preferred
