Overview

The Work:

The Full Stack Developer will excel in driving rapidly in an AI-assisted environment. This role will utilize AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude, Amazon Q Developer) to enhance productivity and accelerate delivery timelines while ensuring strict human oversight to validate, secure, and maintain complex enterprise-level codebases.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
  • Code Development: Write, review, refactor, and optimize Java (Spring Boot) back-end code and Angular 21 front-end code.
  • AI-Assisted Development: Use AI development tools to generate boilerplate code, write unit tests, and execute application modernization tasks.
  • Code Validation: Ensure AI-generated code aligns with security standards, AWS cloud architecture, and PostgreSQL database protocols.
  • Human Optimization: Manually debug, review, and refine AI-generated outputs to prevent integration issues and ensure high-quality abstractions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver enterprise-grade solutions adhering to rigid quality standards.
  • Design AI Models: Participate in designing, developing, and testing AI systems that support innovative development workflows.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Qualifications - Here's What You Need:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, ideally with enterprise-grade application development using the mentioned technology stack.
  • At least 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong expertise in the following technologies and frameworks:
    • Java/Spring Boot: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience.
    • Angular (Version 17 or higher): Minimum 5 years of proven experience.
    • PostgreSQL database systems: Minimum 5 years of practical experience.
    • AWS cloud environments and related architecture.
    • AI Development: Demonstrated 2+ years of experience working in AI-assisted workflows and using related tools or systems.
  • Experience in designing and writing AI models with robust debugging and architectural skills to optimize AI contributions.
  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance is required.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

Minimum Skills Required:
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with diverse technical teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in dynamic project environments.
  • Ability to interpret technical requirements, identify gaps, and coordinate with specialized teams to resolve them.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Containerization: Knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies for application portability.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Practical experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools and processes to enable automated testing and deployment.
  • Agile Development: Expertise in supporting Agile development environments (e.g., Scrum frameworks).
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and provide innovative solutions.

Working Conditions:
  • Professional office environment with the ability to work on-site.
