We are seeking a senior ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) Implementation Lead to design, architect, and drive an end-to-end greenfield SPM implementation from the ground up.

This is not a steady-state maintenance or junior developer role. The ideal candidate must have proven expertise leading end-to-end SPM implementations, making critical architectural design decisions, and configuring complex capabilities—including Demand & Portfolio Prioritization, Strategic Planning (SPW), Resource and Financial Management, external integrations, and production Now Assist AI features.

·         End-to-End Implementation: Lead the architectural design, configuration, and rollout of ServiceNow SPM in a greenfield environment according to ServiceNow best practices and CSDM guidelines.

·         Design & Decision Ownership: Define and defend architectural decisions across data models, workflow intake governance, portfolio hierarchies, and alignment planning.

·         Core Module Delivery:

o    Configure Demand & Idea Management with customized assessment scoring, business cases, and multi-tier prioritization matrices.

o    Implement Strategic Planning Workspace (SPW), Goals/OKRs, and roadmap planning hierarchies.

o    Architect Financial Planning & Tracking, including labor/non-labor cost models, rate models, Capex/Opex breakdowns, and budget vs. actual variance.

o    Configure Resource Management, capacity forecasting, allocation workbenches, and operational resource planning.

·         AI & Platform Innovations: Implement and operationalize production Now Assist / Generative AI capabilities for SPM/Strategic Planning (e.g., automated status reporting, demand summarization).

·         Integrations & Advanced Analytics: Design bi-directional integrations with third-party systems (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, SAP/ERP) using Integration Hub/REST APIs, and build executive portfolio health dashboards and Performance Analytics solutions.

 

< style="margin: 0cm;">Required Qualifications & Experience

·  10+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and architecture experience, with at least 3+ years dedicated to full-lifecycle ServiceNow SPM (ITBM) implementations.

·  Demonstrated experience leading at least one full-lifecycle, greenfield SPM deployment from discovery through go-live.

·  Deep hands-on design and configuration expertise in Demand Prioritization, Strategic Planning Workspace, Resource Workbenches, and Financial Cost Models.

·  Direct experience implementing or piloting ServiceNow GenAI / Now Assist features in an enterprise environment.

·  Proven ability to articulate design decisions, trade-offs (OOTB vs. custom development), and configuration best practices directly to technical and business stakeholders.

 

Certifications:

  • Certified Implementation Specialist – Strategic Portfolio Management (CIS-SPM) (Strongly Preferred / Required)
  • Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified System Administrator (CSA)
