Supply Chain Planning Leader with pharma/biotech Experience

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced Planning Solution Lead to drive the business-led deployment of advanced planning solutions across a global manufacturing network. This role will lead the rollout and adoption of planning tools supporting manufacturing production and laboratory operations, ensuring improved planning performance, service levels, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will act as the business owner for planning capabilities, partnering with supply chain, site operations, IT, and external vendors to deliver successful implementation and adoption of planning systems.

Key Responsibilities

Planning Solution Deployment & Leadership

• Lead global deployment of advanced planning solutions across manufacturing and laboratory environments

• Drive implementation of production scheduling, capacity planning, and lab planning processes

• Guide site teams to adopt standardized planning processes and best practices

Business Ownership of Planning Processes

• Serve as SME for manufacturing and lab planning processes

• Translate business requirements into system capabilities

• Drive continuous improvement in planning performance

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Act as liaison between business teams, IT, and external vendors

• Ensure alignment between operational needs and technical solutions

• Support change management and user adoption

Deployment Program Support

• Lead requirements gathering, testing (UAT), training, and go-live support

• Ensure site readiness and successful rollout across locations

• Capture and share best practices across deployments

Planning Capability Development

• Define and evolve global planning strategy and roadmap

• Design future-state planning processes to improve efficiency and visibility

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, or related field

Experience

• 10 15+ years in:

  • Manufacturing planning

  • Production scheduling

  • Supply chain planning

• Experience in regulated industries (Pharma, Biotech preferred)

• Proven experience in planning system implementations / deployments
