Cybersecurity Mission Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Are you an experienced cybersecurity leader with a passion for risk management, governance, and strategic decision-making? Kforce is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity and Risk Management Advisor to provide subject matter expertise, guide cybersecurity initiatives, and support executive-level decision-making in a highly dynamic environment.

Summary:
This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep experience in cybersecurity policy, risk management, supply chain security, and organizational governance who can effectively collaborate across technical and executive stakeholders.

Duties Include:
* Serve as a trusted cybersecurity advisor and subject matter expert for enterprise cybersecurity and risk management initiatives
* Develop executive-level correspondence, policies, strategies, guidance documents, briefing materials, and recommendations for senior leadership
* Provide expertise on cybersecurity governance, compliance, supply chain risk management, and emerging cyber threats
* Lead or support cross-functional cybersecurity efforts, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements
* Coordinate and facilitate working groups, meetings, conferences, and stakeholder engagements
* Drive collaboration among technical teams, business leaders, and executive stakeholders to support informed decision-making

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field
* Current CISSP or CISM certification
* 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, supply chain risk management, or enterprise risk management
* Experience drafting executive-level communications, policies, strategies, guidance, or other formal decision-support materials
* Strong knowledge of cybersecurity governance, policy, and risk management frameworks
* Ability to serve as a senior cybersecurity subject matter expert and strategic advisor
* Exceptional written and verbal communication, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
* Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

Preferred Qualifications:
* Knowledge of NIST 800-series publications and cybersecurity best practices
* Experience supporting large, complex organizations through governance, coordination, staffing, and operational processes
* Familiarity with cybersecurity policies related to non-traditional IT environments and supply chain risk management
* Experience coordinating initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and senior leadership
* Proven ability to facilitate meetings, working groups, and conferences while driving action and accountability

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
