Salary Range: $81,000 - $121,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Coopersville that are seeking NPI Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the transfer of new products from R&D to manufacturing.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new products.
• Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of new products.
• Conduct DFM/DFA reviews and provide feedback to product development teams.
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process flows.
• Support pilot production runs and address any manufacturing issues.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs for new product introductions.
• Participate in FMEAs and risk assessments for new product processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years experience in NPI (New Product Introduction) within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to interpret and apply engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and their impact on product design.
• Experience with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems and CAD software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) for manufacturing.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python, MATLAB) for data analysis and automation.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical systems.
