Description:
This is not a typical NetSuite Administrator or technical implementation role.
They''re looking for someone who can operate as a trusted Finance and business process consultant within an existing NetSuite environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
Required Experience:
• 10+ years of hands-on NetSuite consulting experience
• Strong end-to-end Finance process knowledge, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Record-to-Report (R2R)
• Deep understanding of General Ledger, AP, AR, Revenue Recognition, Financial Reporting, Multi-Book, Intercompany, Consolidations, and OneWorld
• Strong reporting, analytics, dashboards, and saved search experience
• Experience supporting Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and executive leadership—not just Manufacturing
• Experience working within large enterprise or Fortune 500 environments
• Comfortable partnering directly with Controllers, CFOs, FP&A leaders, and Finance Directors
Consulting Style:
The client is looking for someone who leads with discovery before making recommendations. They expect the consultant to:
• Learn existing business workflows before proposing changes
• Ask thoughtful questions and validate assumptions
• Reconcile reports and financial data before presenting conclusions
• Understand the accounting impact of NetSuite configurations
• Communicate confidently with executive stakeholders and business users

• Manufacturing accounting

• BOMs and routings
• Inventory valuation
• Revenue reporting
• Healthcare or regulated industry experience
