Material Control Entry

Primary Location: Spartanburg, South Carolina

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Material Control Entry for our premier client in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Education and Experience

3+ years of computer skills to include MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
6+ months of knowledge of logistics processes in the supply chain.
3+ years of interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
6+ months knowledge of SAP or other ERP software (preferably with an emphasis in Material Planning).
less than 1 year of experience/training needed; Intermediate = 1 3 years of experience/some training may be needed; Advanced = 3-5 years experience/no training needed; Expert = 5+ years experience/able to train others.

Knowledge and Skills:

Performs basic data processing and parameter administration in the material planning system.
Supports series production, parts run-in & run-out and participates in the implementation of technical changes, including minimization of obsolescence costs.
Maintains monthly supplier ratings and quarterly LPKM (supplier competence and performance management) rating information.
Participates in internal projects with material control process partners.
Understands and models VPA (Value Added Production System) Principles and concepts of Standard Work and Problem Solving.

Adheres to 5S and Safety Standards and Principles.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
