Job Title: Full Stack Java Developer

Duration: 10 months

Location: Chicago IL (Onsite)

Payrate: $65.00 - 68.26/hr

This role is a potential contract to hire and will require resources that do not require sponsorship now or in the future.

Source only in Chicago, IL. This specific role is required to be fulfilled onsite 5 days a week.

This role is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the role include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. This role codes solutions, unit tests, and ensures the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust and well-tested interfaces. They are familiar with development and testing practices of the bank.

Responsibilities include:

-Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements.

-Participate and guide team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle.

-Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.

-Code solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.

-Utilize multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements.

-Assist team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work.

-Contribute to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause.

-Document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality.

-Participate, contribute and can coach team members in the delivery/release (CI-CD) events. e.g. branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, merge/conflict resolution, release notes.

Required Skills:

-Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering or a related field with 7+ years of experience in Information Technology

-5+ years of experience in building and integrating large Java, J2EE applications

-Strong skills in design and developing SOAP/RESTful API and Micro Service.

-Ability to provide solutions based on industry standard frameworks/platforms like SpringMVC, NodeJS, React, Angular, etc.

-Strong JavaScript, HTML, CSS and frontend coding skills

-Understanding of cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility issues and how to resolve them

-Strong understanding of ADA guidelines for building accessible products

-Experience in database design and tuning

-Experience in Identity Access Management (IAM) technologies including OAuth2/OIDC, MFA, FIDO, Single Sign-On, federation, Digital Certificates, Active Directory, and LDAP.

-Skilled in using SDLC tools such as JIRA, GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Ansible, SOAPUI, Postman, etc.

-Proficiency in development in Unix/Linux environment

-Knowledge in security protocols, cryptography, and HSM

-Ability to coordinate and Support large complex projects including product upgrades and deployment of new capabilities and enhancements.

-Experience in delivering full-life cycle projects

-Strong analytical skills to solve problems, perform research and derive solution opportunities

-Strong written and oral communications skill

-Experience in Agile development methodologies

Desired Skill

-Experience in secure programming practices

-Experience in IAM platforms, such as Ping Federate, Ping Access, PingIDM, Okta
