Job Description


We are seeking a Mobile Engineering Product Manager to join our dynamic team supporting Mobile Application development across multiple business lines at Bank of America. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in technical product ownership and business analysis and a proven ability to drive product vision, adoption, and expansion while leading teams to deliver high-impact mobile products.


Responsibilities:



  • Develop and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap for mobile applications.

  • Lead user research with external vendors/clients and internal partners to define problems and opportunities.

  • Serve as subject matter expert for mobile products, frameworks, technical components, and underlying data.

  • Drive product adoption and expansion across internal business units and external customer experiences.

  • Lead and manage teams to deliver functionality across multiple concurrent projects.

  • Partner with engineering, design, and cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize backlogs.

  • Leverage Agile and Waterfall methodologies as appropriate; operate in Jira and related tools.

  • Apply Copilot and prompt engineering expertise to inform product strategy and delivery.

  • Facilitate workshops, presentations, and stakeholder communications at multiple organizational levels.


Required Skills & Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.

  • 10+ years as a technical product owner or business analyst in project-based environments.

  • 5+ years of experience leading/managing people and delivering products.

  • Deep understanding of mobile application frameworks, technical components, and product data.

  • Deep understanding of Copilot and prompt engineering.

  • Proficiency with Agile and Waterfall methodologies; working knowledge of Jira.

  • Strong time management, prioritization, delegation, and coaching skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.

  • Effective verbal and written communication across organizational levels; strong facilitation and presentation skills.

  • Fluency in technology and knowledge of project and software development methods and techniques.

  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict management abilities.


Preferred Skills:



  • Experience in mobile applications for internal users and external banking customers.

  • UI/UX design exposure and FinTech experience.

  • Hands-on collaboration with technology teams and Agile software delivery experience.

  • Data literacy and analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Business-centric judgment with the ability to tailor approaches for optimal outcomes.

  • Proven collaboration across business and cross-functional partners; strong executive communication.


Additional Details:



  • Start month: August. Interview process includes 2 rounds; in-person preferred for local candidates in Charlotte.
