Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with strong expertise in the Payments domain to lead and manage large-scale payment technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of IT Project Management experience with a proven track record of delivering complex banking and payments projects.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years of overall IT Project Management experience.
• Strong experience in Payments domain.
• Experience managing end-to-end project delivery within Banking and Financial Services.
• Knowledge of payment processing systems, payment lifecycle, and transaction flows.
• Experience working with Cross-Border Payments, Wire Transfers, ACH, SWIFT, RTP, or ISO 20022 initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall environments.
• Ability to manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
• Experience coordinating with business, product, development, QA, and infrastructure teams.
• Strong reporting, governance, and executive-level communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Banking or Financial Services industry experience.
• Experience with payment modernization or digital payment transformation programs.
• PMP, Scrum Master, or related certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage payment-related technology projects from initiation through deployment.
• Define project plans, milestones, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Track project progress and proactively manage risks and issues.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.
• Facilitate status meetings and provide regular project updates to leadership.
• Ensure successful delivery of projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Drive project governance and adherence to organizational standards.
