Mix of projects

Must have Vendor, contractor experience to coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and vendors

You Must bring a mix of technical construction knowledge, project coordination experience, and the ability to work effectively with internal teams, design professionals, and subcontractors.

What You Will Do?

Use Construction Commercial tools such as SmartSheets & MS Project. Adept at Construction Project Management

Manage and support commercial construction and development projects from kickoff through completion of engineering and build process.

Review and OWN all construction project documentation including project plans, specifications, contracts, and other relative & potential construction documentation

Monitor contracts, schedules, budgets, site progress, & overall project performance. Own the project progress.

Construction safety & quality. Conduct site visits to verify progress, quality, and compliance with safety standards

Assist with bidding, contractor selection, procurement, & preconstruction planning

Identify project risks

Prepare status updates and communicate progress with leadership and project stakeholders in a efficient forum

Manage project details in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations

MUST HAVE Qualifications:

Required Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related

PE license is a huge plus!

4-10 years of experience in construction, project engineering, or project management

Experience supporting commercial construction projects from preconstruction design initiation through close.

Strong understanding of construction processes, safety, relevant vendors, materials, & building regulations

Ability to read, understand, interpret COMMERCIAL blueprints, specifications, and technical documents

You must be HIGHLY organized, HIGHLY communicative, STRONG problem-solving skills

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
4-10 years of experience in construction project engineering, project coordination, or project management.
Demonstrated background supporting commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final completion.
Working knowledge of construction methods, cost control, materials, vendor coordination, safety practices, and building regulations.
Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents accurately.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience using project tracking and scheduling tools, including Smartsheet and Microsoft Project.
PE licensure is preferred but not required.
