Role Summary
We are looking for a Business Analyst with hands-on experience in credit card and loan origination systems to bridge business requirements with technical delivery. They will be working across risk, credit ops, product, and engineering teams to improve origination workflows, decisioning, and customer onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
Gather and document business requirements for credit card application and loan origination processes (application intake, underwriting, decisioning, funding).
Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and process/data flow diagrams for engineering teams.
Analyze origination funnel metrics (approval rates, drop-off, TAT) and recommend process improvements.
Support UAT, defect triage, and production issue investigation for origination platforms.
Liaise with Credit Risk, Compliance, Fraud, and Product teams to ensure regulatory and policy alignment (Reg B, FCRA, KYC/AML).
Maintain BRDs, functional specs, and traceability matrices.
Required Experience
3 6 years as a Business/Systems Analyst in banking or fintech.
Direct experience with loan/credit card origination platforms.
Familiarity with credit decisioning rules, bureau data and underwriting workflows.
Agile/Scrum experience writing user stories.
