Rate: $65-73hr on w2 dependent upon experience
Role Overview
We are seeking a Data Management Architect with a project management mindset to support data governance and management initiatives. The ideal candidate will act as a business lead, partnering with development and application teams to drive the execution of data-related projects. This role involves translating technical concepts for business partners and ensuring regulatory and compliance requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data lineage, including source-to-target mapping, both manually and through automated processes.
- Leverage data scanning, metadata, and AI tools to analyze code, expose controls, and surface solutions.
- Act as the business lead for data initiatives, partnering with development teams to prioritize requirements.
- Translate between business and technology teams to facilitate engagements and resolve dependencies.
- Drive the execution of funded initiatives by tracking progress, identifying roadblocks, and communicating status to stakeholders.
- Ensure regulatory, control, and compliance requirements are reflected in technology and process decisions.
- Work closely with development and application teams to ensure the creation of necessary dashboards and tools.
- Continuously learn and apply knowledge of AI, automation, data, and governance tools.
Required Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of eight years of experience in data management and data governance.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with data lineage (source-to-target mapping) and metadata management tools. Experience with tools similar to Becubic is beneficial.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated pay range for this position is $72.00 to $73.24 per hour. Please note that the final pay rate will be determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience and qualifications.
