Summary
Role: Infra Support Manager
Location: Boston, MA(Day 1 onsite)
Duration:6-12 months
Type: Contract
- 15+ Years of strong experience with CentOS/Linux/Windows VM hosted on VMware ESXI.
- Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with Powershell/Phyton script writing and execution
- 10+ Years of experience with Linux and Windows Administration.
- Experience with VMware tools and upgrading VSphere, VCenter, VMWare tools, etc.
- Understanding of storage (SAN\NAS) connectivity from VSphere, mounting LUNs, etc.
- Experience using vLANs and VMWare virtual switching.
- Knowledge of CISCO UCS and HyperFlex hardware.
- Pure Storage Knowledge and Cohesity knowledge for backup
- Experience with enterprise managing monitoring.
- Experience with Cisco B/C series UCS servers and UCS Manager (CIMC)
- Must be able to prioritize and manage time under tight deadlines, and demonstrate initiative in problem-solving in dynamic requirement environment
- Strong technical skills and ability to work proactively to resolve problems before it occurs.
- Demonstrated ability to perform exceptionally complex tasks
- Researches and evaluates new concepts and processes to improve performance.
- Oversees and monitors performance, and when required, takes steps to resolve issues.
- Good understanding of ITIL and ITSM Management with Infrastructure and Operations teams.
- Effective organizational, interpersonal, analytical, communications skills and Hands on technical experience
- Provides 24x7 on-call production support; provides triage and root cause analysis.
- Improves existing products and procedures by evaluating latest trends and conducts POC s on latest software and hardware technologies.
- Ensure regular communications with Supervisor, team members, and other departments to maintain a reliable network that our customers expect delivering their services.
- Work on a retained basis and support out of hours work that may be required to maintain or upgrade the core network and servers.
- Maintains knowledge, ensures competency and compliance with policies and procedures, to be the technical expert while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
