Machine Learning Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Brooklyn, NY that is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join a cross-functional team building and deploying machine learning models that support large-scale, customer-facing products. This role focuses on delivering production-ready ML solutions while collaborating closely with product, design, and analytics partners.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design, build, deploy, and maintain machine learning models in production
* Participate in agile team ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning
* Break down projects into well-scoped, executable tasks and deliver on time
* Apply engineering best practices including code reviews, testing, and monitoring
* Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define and iterate on ML solutions
* Troubleshoot, triage, and resolve production issues
* Review peer code and communicate progress and technical risks proactively

REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience with core ML workflows: training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and debugging
* Hands-on experience with cloud ML and data platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, Vertex AI, Dataflow, or equivalents)
* Strong communication and collaboration skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
