Job Description

We are seeking a Business Analyst III to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Power BI development, data analysis, and stakeholder facilitation and a proven ability to translate business needs into functional designs, deliver executive dashboards, and drive risk-based decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the current Power BI environment and rebuild reports and dashboards to reduce complexity and remove unused data sources.


• Engage line-of-business stakeholders to elicit requirements, decompose them into clear functional specifications, and complete functional designs.


• Collaborate with technical team members to communicate requirements and support creation of technical designs.


• Conduct research and development on banking industry trends, data engineering and architecture, and data security topics.


• Provide support and troubleshooting for data platforms and related integrations.


• Plan and execute internal projects, including legacy system replacement, monitoring and analytics improvements, tool development, and technical documentation.


• Offer guidance and mentoring to team members and promote best practices.


• Manage and prioritize multiple assignments and deadlines.


• Organize project information, track progress, and proactively identify and resolve blockers and issues.


• Evaluate tool capabilities and compatibility with MFA and PAM solutions to support IAM strategy.


• Facilitate risk-based discussions with stakeholders to drive informed decision-making.


• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for executive reporting and performance tracking.


• Assist in defining project scope and objectives with relevant stakeholders and ensure technical feasibility.


• Build and maintain a pipeline of future IAM-related work to support long-term security objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Hands-on Power BI experience, including data modeling, DAX, and visualization best practices.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.


• Clear written and verbal communication with the ability to tailor content to business, management, and technical audiences.


• Meeting facilitation skills, including driving discussions and capturing decisions and action items.


• Familiarity with SDLC, release management, and assisting in project management tasks.


• Bachelor's degree in business or technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Financial services or financial crimes domain knowledge.


• Familiarity with Single Sign-On and IAM concepts and technologies, including SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and MFA.
