Connected Commerce creates appealing experiences at inflection points earlier in the purchasing journey. Customers are connected to numerous partner brand and benefits, offering a compelling end-to-end experience, unmatched value, and a proactive way to make the most of their money.

As a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Engineer within Lifestyle, you support planning and execution of testing for Chase Offers and related experiences. You design and run test cases, manage test data, and partner with scrum teams to identify and resolve defects. You help ensure each release meets acceptance criteria and delivers a seamless end-to-end customer experience.

Job Responsibilities
  • Participate in test planning for each project and release across Chase Offers.
  • Design, develop, and execute end-to-end use cases and test cases based on requirements in Jira.
  • Conduct manual customer-journey testing and validate back-end data flows.
  • Support user acceptance testing for web and, over time, mobile applications.
  • Verify applications meet acceptance criteria and intended customer outcomes.
  • Maintain and enhance the regression test suite.
  • Partner with scrum teams to triage, track, and validate defect fixes.
  • Create and maintain test data; perform data conditioning as needed.
  • Build and improve web and mobile test frameworks and automated scripts.
  • Support internal and external teams with testing needs and status updates.
  • Document results and contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • 3+ years in quality assurance or user acceptance testing within Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Experience with test and defect tools (e.g., Jira, ALM, or Excel trackers).
  • Ability to design clear test cases from user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Hands-on experience validating data flows; SQL familiarity is helpful.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills; detail-oriented and results-focused.
  • Solid organization and time management; able to deliver across multiple releases.
  • Willingness to learn new tools and frameworks to improve test efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with test automation (e.g., Java, Cucumber, JUnit) and API testing (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
  • Experience with databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, DB2) and log tools (e.g., Splunk).
  • Experience with GitHub and CI workflows.
  • Mobile testing experience.
