QA Automation Engineer

 Mon-Tues (ONSITE) --- Wed-Fri (REMOTE).

Position Overview:

This role will work closely with development, business, and QA teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications that support contract management, compliance, monitoring, and reporting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Playwright or similar automation tools.
• Perform manual testing activities as needed across development, QA, UAT, and production environments.
• Develop test plans, test cases, and test execution strategies for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Execute automated and manual test cases, track results, and provide detailed reporting.
• Identify, document, and track defects using Jira and related QA management tools.
• Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices and testing documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and production validation efforts.
• Assist in troubleshooting test failures and application defects.
• Establish automated test schedules and reporting mechanisms.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
• Support accessibility and compliance testing initiatives as required.
• Provide occasional on-call support when needed.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in QA Automation Testing.
• 10+ years of experience in manual test execution.
• Strong experience creating and maintaining QA test scripts.
• Hands-on experience with performance testing methodologies and tools.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Proficiency with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Playwright, WebdriverIO, JMeter, JavaScript, and HTML.
• Experience with test management tools such as XRay or Zephyr.
• Familiarity with accessibility testing standards and practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced enterprise environments.

Nice to Have:

• Experience supporting enterprise contract management or compliance applications.
• Experience leading UAT activities and coordinating testing efforts across teams.
