Summary

Overview

We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to provide Tier II technical support in a fast-paced enterprise environment. This role focuses on troubleshooting end-user issues, supporting Windows systems, and managing endpoints using modern device management tools. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier II desktop support for end users, resolving hardware, software, and system-related issues
  • Troubleshoot Windows operating systems, enterprise applications, and endpoint devices
  • Manage and track incidents and service requests using ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolution and accurate documentation
  • Deploy, configure, and manage devices and applications using Microsoft Intune
  • Perform application installations, updates, and provisioning across enterprise environments
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams while maintaining ownership of tickets through resolution
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users
  • Maintain documentation of troubleshooting processes and solutions to improve support efficiency

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of desktop or Tier II technical support experience in a Windows environment
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune, including application deployment and device provisioning
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and operating systems
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alpharetta, GA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
