Salesforce Developer

Description

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer to support a long-term contract opportunity in Costa Mesa, California. This role is ideal for a hands-on specialist who can design, build, and enhance Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud and GovCloud environments while partnering with stakeholders to turn business needs into scalable technical outcomes. The successful candidate will bring strong development depth, sound platform knowledge, and the ability to contribute across both configuration and custom code.

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, custom triggers, batch processes, scheduled jobs, and declarative automation tools.
Build responsive user experiences with Lightning Web Components and extend platform functionality to meet evolving business needs.
Configure and optimize platform features such as approval workflows, validation logic, assignment rules, formulas, and Flow automations.
Support solution delivery across Sales Cloud and Salesforce Government Cloud Plus environments with attention to security, performance, and compliance needs.
Use GitHub for source control, version management, and collaborative development practices across the delivery team.
Translate functional requirements into technical designs and implement scalable features that balance configuration and custom development.
Contribute across both administrative support activities and code-based enhancements, bringing strong expertise in Salesforce platform operations and development.
Work with analytics-related Salesforce tools and methodologies, including Einstein Analytics and related reporting capabilities, to support data-driven decision making.

Requirements

7+ years of experience delivering Salesforce development solutions in enterprise environments.
Strong hands-on expertise with Apex development, including triggers, scheduled classes, and batch processing.
Proficiency in Lightning Web Components and the Salesforce Lightning Platform.
Experience with Salesforce administration and configuration, including Flow, approval processes, validation rules, and assignment rules.
Background working with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce Government Cloud Plus.
Familiarity with GitHub and modern source control practices for team-based development.
Ability to move effectively between declarative configuration, administrative support, and custom coding work.
Experience with Salesforce analytics tools, including Einstein Analytics or similar platform reporting solutions.
