Senior QA Automation Engineer 

🔹 Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with 12+ years of experience to lead quality engineering initiatives and drive automation excellence across enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in test automation, framework design, and quality strategy, along with a strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in delivering high-quality, scalable, and reliable software solutions.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend systems
• Define and drive automation strategy and best practices across multiple projects and teams
• Develop and maintain automated test suites ensuring high test coverage and reliability
• Integrate automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure quality at every stage of SDLC
• Perform API, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for complex applications
• Conduct test planning, estimation, and risk assessment for releases
• Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution
• Establish and monitor quality metrics, dashboards, and KPIs
• Drive shift-left testing practices and improve overall testing efficiency
• Mentor and guide QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, maintainability, and reusability of automation frameworks

🔹 Required Skills & Expertise

✅ Automation & Programming

• Strong experience in test automation (8+ years)
• Expertise in tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Experience with test frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or PyTest
• Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow)

✅ API & Advanced Testing

• Strong experience in API automation using tools like RestAssured, Postman, or Karate
• Good understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Experience in database testing (SQL)

✅ DevOps & Cloud

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Hands-on exposure to Docker / Kubernetes (preferred)
• Experience working in cloud environments (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform)

✅ Additional Skills

• Performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling)
• Test reporting tools (Allure, Extent Reports)
• Version control systems (Git, Bitbucket)

🔹 Leadership & Collaboration

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to QA teams
• Conduct code reviews and enforce automation best practices
• Work closely with stakeholders to align quality goals with business objectives
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in QA processes

🔹 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 12+ years of experience in software testing and automation
• Proven experience in Agile/Scrum environments
