Summary

We are seeking an experienced Medicaid Reports Developer (Curam) to support reporting and data analytics initiatives for Medicaid projects.

This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining reporting solutions and data models, working closely with business teams to deliver enhancements, resolve defects, and support ongoing reporting needs.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Medicaid reporting solutions and semantic data models
Write and optimize Oracle PL/SQL code for reporting and data processing
Build and manage data warehouse and ETL solutions
Develop reports using BIRT and IBM Curam framework
Design and implement Azure Synapse analytics solutions (SQL pools, pipelines, Spark)
Perform data validation, analysis, and troubleshooting of defects
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting visualizations
Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and implement solutions
Lead and mentor junior developers on ETL and reporting best practices

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in:
- Oracle PL/SQL development
- SQL scripting and relational database design
- Data warehouse and ETL development (OWB/ODI preferred)
Strong expertise in:
- IBM Curam (must-have for reporting)
- BIRT reporting tool
- Azure Synapse Analytics (SQL pools, pipelines, Spark)
Experience working with large-scale distributed systems
Strong understanding of SDLC and structured development methodologies
Ability to manage complex tasks and work independently

Preferred / Highly Desired Skills

Experience with Python / PySpark / SparkSQL on Azure
Strong SQL performance tuning skills
Experience with Power BI dashboard development
Background in Medicaid or public sector systems
Experience with Business Objects or similar BI tools

Work Requirements

Must be a local candidate to North Carolina
Must be able to work onsite as needed (Hybrid model)
