JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Manager of SAP Manufacturing & Cross-Functional Applications will lead the organization''s portfolio of SAP Manufacturing solutions. This role oversees a cross-functional team managing SAP modules including EWM, MM, SCM, PP, Revenue, FICO, GTS, TM, and Master Data, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
The incumbent will serve as the system owner for SAP Manufacturing applications across the US, Mexico, LATAM, Dominican Republic, Netherlands, and future rollouts. Responsibilities include managing services, overseeing system maintenance, and prioritizing enhancements and changes. As the primary point of contact for all manufacturing sites, this role will collaborate closely with site leaders to support efficient operations.
Key responsibilities also include stakeholder management, ensuring system availability, and coordinating with third-party vendors. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in SAP Manufacturing applications, outstanding leadership capabilities, and a strategic mindset for leveraging business systems to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
Work Experience
- Over 10 years of hands-on experience configuring SAP modules, with deep expertise in at least one of the following: SAP MM, SCM, PP, or EWM. Additionally, 5+ years of experience in a managerial role, leading SAP application teams. Proven ability to lead and manage SAP operations across cross functional teams.
- Demonstrated success in managing SAP operations as part of Managed Services ensuring system stability, process alignment, automation and continuous improvements.
- Strong track record in stakeholder engagement, effectively collaborating with IT teams, business units, and vendors to deliver high-impact SAP solutions and services.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Detailed understanding & extensive experience in the SAP S4HANA Manufacturing application support.
- Excellent oral communication along with strong written skills to be able to convey messages that have the desired effect
- Ability to set expectations and manage the support and operations across business and IT teams
- Good understanding of estimation methodologies
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to drive deadlines with the team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
