Image and deploy laptop and workstation systems for the Camp Grayling post.
Occasional imaging and deployment/installation of equipment at other locations throughout the state may be required.
Perform system patching, updates, refresh of operating system image.
Installation of all peripherals, projectors, printers, camera's, sound equipment and recording devices. Configuring, installation, and support of all video conferencing systems.
Configuring and maintenance of bridge system for conferencing.
Manage and coordinate calendars and scheduling tools for Camp Grayling DLC.
Conduct inventory and document hand receipts for all incoming and outgoing equipment. Coordinate staff support of all equipment for end users.
Maintain data to support metric requirements provided to National Guard Bureau program management. Schedule and coordinate all audio and video conferences with owned locations and distant locations throughout the world.
Prepare rooms for scheduled video or audio conferences.
Coordinate issuance and return of loaned endpoints, video and audio equipment, and ensure equipment is properly set-up and taken down in support of conference requirements as needed.
Ensure classified video conferencing is conducted inappropriate areas and verify class level of all participants prior to connecting system.
Ensure classified and un-classified conferences are tested prior to event date.
Monitor all classified transmissions to ensure integrity of communication.
Skills Required:
- Troubleshooting of computer systems, networking/connectivity, audio visual equipment.
- Proficient use of Microsoft office systems.
- Working knowledge of SharePoint, documentation policies, and inventory management.
Experience Required:Daily employee will make decisions determining most critical response needs from received requests. Employee will make decisions about scheduling of resources based on level of need and resources available. Software or hardware changes made to equipment in support of program or mission requirements. Occasional amount of lifting and bending is required, climbing ladders, working in small or high areas, use of tools typically associated with running cable, testing systems, or repairing computer or network equipment. Employee should be able to lift 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance to facilitate moving or installing equipment. All of these tasks represent 75% of an average workday. 3-5 years experience is required.
Education Required: Highschool graduate, college is not necessary but post HS training in computers is preferred. A+ certification, NW+ certification, preferred, Security+ required.US Secret clearance is required
