Role Overview
Our organization is seeking a DDI Manager to lead the engineering and operational ownership of our DDI capabilities (DNS, DHCP, IPAM). This position combines people leadership, platform governance, and technical depth, with accountability for stability, resiliency, security, and roadmap execution within a complex enterprise environment. The role requires a leader with strong DDI fundamentals, a stabilization mindset, and the ability to define a durable future state for DDI services.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the enterprise DDI services end-to-end, including authoritative and recursive DNS, DHCP services, and IP address management workflows.
- Establish and enforce standards for availability, performance, scalability, and resiliency for DDI services.
- Govern DDI architecture patterns, including DNS views, zone design, delegation models, DHCP scope strategy, and IPAM operating procedures.
- Drive operational rigor through monitoring, proactive risk management, and repeatable response patterns.
- Lead major incident response for DDI events, including stakeholder communications, technical triage, and post-incident remediation.
- Execute the vision and initiative roadmap for DDI, balancing stabilization with modernization and long-term architectural direction.
- Lead the integration of DDI platforms with automation and orchestration tooling to enable API-driven provisioning.
- Define patterns for secure DNS, including controls that reduce attack surface and support enterprise security initiatives.
- Lead and develop a team of DDI engineers, providing coaching, performance support, and workload prioritization.
- Partner across network, application, cloud, and security teams to ensure DDI designs support enterprise reliability.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid position requiring office presence on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Available work locations include Wayne, PA; Plano, TX; and Charlotte, NC.
