ServiceNow Software Engineer IV (UCD)

Introduction

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Software Engineer IV with expertise in User-centered Design (UCD) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ServiceNow development, change management, configuration management database (CMDB), event management, and IT service management. Experience with Tripwire or Unauthorized Change Detection (UCD) is preferred, and familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO/IEC 27001:2005, Payment Card Industry (PCI), and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement ServiceNow solutions to meet business requirements
  • Manage and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and IT Service Management (ITSM) processes
  • Create and optimize business rules and script includes for efficient workflow automation
  • Utilize Flow Designer and IntegrationHub for seamless integration with other systems
  • Monitor and manage event management processes to ensure system stability and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement user-centered solutions
  • Utilize Tripwire or other Unauthorized Change Detection tools to enhance security and compliance
  • Stay current with industry best practices and standards related to IT security and compliance
  • Participate in audits and assessments related to ISO/IEC 27001:2005, Payment Card Industry (PCI), and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members

Requirements

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in ServiceNow development
  • Expertise in change management and configuration management database (CMDB)
  • Strong knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes
  • Experience with business rules and script includes for workflow automation
  • Proficiency in Flow Designer and IntegrationHub for system integration
  • Knowledge of event management processes for system stability

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Tripwire or other Unauthorized Change Detection (UCD) tools
  • Familiarity with ISO/IEC 27001:2005, Payment Card Industry (PCI), and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance standards
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
