Mobile Technical Lead

Must be 100% Onsite in McLean, VA

About the Role: The Mobile Technology Lead is responsible for architecting, designing, and delivering enterprise-grade mobile applications. This role provides Technical Leadership to development squads, defining standards for high-performance Hybrid and Native mobile stacks while ensuring seamless integration across the Product, User Experience (UX), and Backend ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end architecture using Ionic, Capacitor, and Swift.
• Perform Hands-on Development and Code Reviews for AngularJS-based mobile applications.
• Design and implement Native Plugins for device features like Biometrics, Camera, and Push Notifications.
• Drive technical decisions regarding Scalability, Security, and Performance Optimization.
• Manage the Application Lifecycle, including App Store Compliance and Release Management.
• Mentor developers and collaborate with DevOps and Security teams on CI/CD Pipelines.

Essential Skills:

• Ionic Framework: Expert-level enterprise-scale development.
• Capacitor: Extensive experience in Native Bridge and Plugin Development.
• AngularJS / Angular: Proficiency in Mobile User Interface (UI) and State Management.
• Swift: Advanced Native iOS Development and plugin customization.
• Mobile Security: Implementation of Encryption, Certificate Pinning, and Secure Storage.

Desirable Skills:

• Android Native Development: Knowledge of Kotlin or Java.
• CI/CD Tools: Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Bitrise.
• Security Standards: Familiarity with OWASP Mobile Top 10.
• Authentication: OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and Biometric Integration.
• Domain Expertise: Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Regulated Industries.
