Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data warehouse solutions using Snowflake. This role requires expertise in SQL, ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, cloud data platforms, and data integration to build reliable and high-performance enterprise data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data transformation logic.
Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion and transformation.
Integrate data from multiple source systems into Snowflake.
Perform Snowflake performance tuning, query optimization, and warehouse optimization.
Design and implement data models to support business and analytical requirements.
Develop data migration solutions from legacy platforms to Snowflake.
Collaborate with data architects, engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot data quality and processing issues.
Implement data security, governance, and access controls.
Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and Agile development activities.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
Advanced SQL development skills.
Strong understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modeling concepts.
Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data integration.
Experience with Snowflake features such as Streams, Tasks, Stages, Snowpipe, Time Travel, and Stored Procedures.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Matillion, Talend, dbt, or similar.
Experience with Python or Shell scripting for data automation.
Strong knowledge of database concepts and performance tuning.
Experience with Git and version control.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
