Job Description:
• Seeking a Senior Appian Developer with strong experience in Appian design, development, deployment, integrations, workflows, interfaces, record types, and data management.
• Candidate should have knowledge of Appian best practices, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and production support.
• Experience working with stakeholders, gathering requirements, and delivering technical solutions is preferred.
• This role will support the PBDI capital project and the Application Engineer team. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills are required.
Responsibilities:
• Primary: New development on Appian applications
• Secondary:
o Production support
o Enhancements (feature additions, user stories in Agile)
• May shift between project work and support depending on workload
Must-have
• Strong Appian development skills (core focus)
• Ability to perform in live coding
• Prior real project experience (they will validate this technically)
• Ability to perform in live coding
• Real Appian experience, not just theoretical or certification-based
• Comfort working in a collaborative, structured team setup
Nice-to-haves
• Appian certification (not required)
• Oracle database exposure (low priority)
Tech environment
• Appian version: ~2025.3 (planning upgrade soon)
• Agile setup (user stories, sprint-based work)
• 50+ applications in production → steady pipeline of work
