Summary

Title: Job Title: NOC Technician
Location: 100% onsite at Allen, TX
Contract/Schedule 2: Mon, Tues ( off Wednesday) Thurs - Fri, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM CST
Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain computer networks and telecommunications systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
Respond promptly to network alerts, troubleshoot issues, and execute incident response procedures for remote and cloud-based operations.
Conduct regular network performance assessments and implement improvements.
Coordinate effectively with field technicians and engineering teams to resolve complex issues.
Maintain comprehensive records of outages, incidents, and quality control activities.
Manage incident, change, and problem tickets through ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolution within SLA parameters.
Perform remote network surveillance, analyze event data, and respond to network security threats.
Collaborate with subject matter experts for advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Communicate clearly with stakeholders during service-impacting events, providing updates and resolution timelines.
Provide exceptional customer support via phone, email, and portal, ensuring client satisfaction.
Manage vendor tickets efficiently, ensuring swift resolution of third-party issues.

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven knowledge of IP networking, routing protocols, and telecommunications technologies.
Experience with network monitoring tools and remote troubleshooting.
Minimum of 1+ year in network operations, troubleshooting IP connectivity, and hardware errors.
Proficiency with VPN, BGP, MPLS, SIP, and network diagram interpretation (e.g., Visio).
Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and respond swiftly to emergent issues.

Preferred Certifications & Experience:

Network+, Cisco CCNA/CCST certifications.
ITIL certification.
Experience with AWS Cloud surveillance and management.
