Job Title: Application Developer
Location: Remote
Contract Duration: Long Term (5–7 years)

Job Description:
The client is undertaking a comprehensive, multi-year modernization initiative to replace its aging legacy systems, including the retirement of the ALICE platform, and transition to a unified cloud-native environment. The project includes development of MyPAS 3.0, a custom Azure-hosted pension administration system. The modernization environment includes technologies such as Angular, REST APIs, Azure SQL Managed Instances, Azure Function Apps, Power BI, document management, and process automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities / Required Experience:

Perform all aspects of application development, including coding, unit testing, documentation, code reviews, and pull requests
Develop, enhance, and maintain application components that meet functional and technical requirements
Develop APIs, system interfaces, and automation workflows
Translate technical specifications into maintainable, production-ready software
Develop clear and actionable user stories and maintain a prioritized backlog
Work within established SDLC and Agile methodologies
Understand business processes, functional design principles, documentation standards, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Deliver high-quality software with minimal defects
Collaborate effectively with developers, technical staff, analysts, testers, and project managers
Manage multiple development assignments and meet established timelines
Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Git

Education:

Computer Science or MIS degree is preferred
3–5 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
