Summary

Systems Engineer I (Onsite)
Primary Location: Madison, Wisconsin

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Systems Engineer I for our premier client in Madison, Wisconsin.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Technical Requirements and Certifications »
  • ITIL certification.

Education and Experience »
  • Required Skills and Years of Experience (8-10 years):
  • Server and system administration technologies such as Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server, VMWare, and Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)

Nice to Have:
  • PowerShell.
  • Experience supporting O365 and SharePoint.
  • Administration of Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS).
  • Administration of Microsoft .NET web applications.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities »
  • Must be highly self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks with strong attention to detail.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
  • The Systems Engineer will play a key role in the design, planning, execution, and installation of the current infrastructure to support new applications and technologies.
  • Support software and hardware upgrades and maintenance of Windows servers, operating systems, infrastructure systems, and applications.
  • Must have extensive experience with standard industry practices including management of Windows Server systems.
  • The Systems Engineer relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
