Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator (Oracle RAC 19c)

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to support enterprise-scale database environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle RAC 19c, high availability solutions, and performance optimization in complex production systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and manage Oracle RAC 19c+ databases in large-scale environments
- Install, configure, and maintain multi-node RAC clusters
- Manage Container Databases (CDB) and Pluggable Databases (PDB)
- Configure and support Data Guard (Physical & Active) including failover/switchover
- Perform database installation, patching, upgrades, and migrations
- Manage RMAN backup, recovery, cloning, and restore processes
- Execute data refresh activities using Data Pump (EXPDP/IMPDP)
- Implement High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions
- Conduct performance tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize SQL and application performance
- Administer Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM 13c)
- Manage Oracle ASM, SCAN listeners, and storage architecture
- Implement database security (TDE, VPD, auditing, data redaction)
- Support OCI / Exadata Cloud (ExaCC) environments
- Develop Shell, SQL, and PL/SQL scripts
- Provide production and non-production support, including troubleshooting
Required Experience
- 8+ years of Oracle DBA experience (minimum 4 years with Oracle 19c)
- 5+ years working in AIX environments
- 5+ years of Oracle RAC experience (3+ years with 19c)
- 5+ years of RMAN experience (2+ years with 19c)
- 4+ years in performance tuning (RAC environments)
- 4+ years experience with Oracle ASM
- 3+ years in database upgrades and patching (19c RAC)
- 2+ years with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) / ExaCC
- 2+ years experience in data modeling and PL/SQL development
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ACFS snapshot cloning
- Exposure to Data Warehouse environments
- Strong understanding of enterprise database architecture
