We are seeking an exceptional Lead Technical Program Manager – ML Research & Scientific Computing to join a world-class team of ML researchers and engineers. In this role, you will be the connective tissue between high-level research strategy and day-to-day technical execution, helping to shape the future of how ML is applied to biophysics and drug design.
Core Responsibilities
In this high-impact position, you will drive the lifecycle of complex machine learning projects. Your responsibilities will include:
Project Orchestration: Coordinate the daily execution of ML projects, ensuring researchers and engineers remain aligned on milestones and technical deliverables.
Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with research leads and senior management on high-priority strategic initiatives, risk-mitigation efforts, and infrastructure scaling.
External Partnerships: Manage critical relationships with vendors and third-party partners to support the group''s technological needs.
Data Strategy: Oversee the acquisition, curation, and management of large-scale scientific datasets essential for training robust ML models.
Interdisciplinary Liaison: Facilitate communication between ML specialists, biophysicists, and software engineers to bridge the gap between computational theory and practical drug discovery.

Theclient is currently advancing several frontier ML applications, including:
Generative Modeling: Developing models to identify novel molecules for specific drug discovery targets.
Predictive Analytics: Building tools to predict the Pharmacokinetics (PK) and ADME (Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, and Excretion) properties of small molecules.
Molecular Simulation: Enhancing the accuracy of molecular dynamics and 3D structure prediction.
LLMs in Science: Applying Large Language Models to complex problems in molecular science and biophysics.
