Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP FI Consultant who will lead solution discussions and apply strong hands-on SAP FI functional expertise. The candidate will demonstrate deep proficiency in SAP Finance (FI) configurations, General Ledger accounting, Product Costing, and cross-workstream financial integrations. The role will partner with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, recommend industry leading practices, design, and implement high-quality FI solutions that align with enterprise objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end SAP FI solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment for Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Product Costing.
- Facilitate workshops with business and IT to elicit requirements, map processes, and define future-state design aligned to best practices.
- Translate business and integration requirements into functional specifications for SAP FICO and interface programs to and from corporate financial systems, including Oracle Financials and Oracle Project Accounting.
- Configure and optimize master data and data structures across SAP Universal Journal (ACDOCA), Cost Accounting, Inventory Management, Production Planning and Control, Quality Control, and Cost of Goods Analysis.
- Collaborate with software developers and integration teams to ensure robust and scalable integrations between SAP FICO and Oracle applications.
- Support accounting transactions for in-house and outsourced manufacturing, including budget control and procurement process alignment.
- Enable and validate SAP Materials Management integration for PO management and spend tracking.
- Prepare test scenarios, lead UAT, and ensure production readiness with required documentation and knowledge transfer.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- SAP FICO module expertise with 3-5 years of hands-on configuration and solution delivery experience.
- Proficiency in SAP FI submodules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Product Costing.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, budget control, and procurement processes.
- Experience designing and maintaining integrations between SAP and non-SAP financial systems, including Oracle Financials and Oracle Project Accounting.
- Hands-on knowledge of SAP Universal Journal (ACDOCA), cost accounting structures, and data models across FI and CO.
- Ability to create functional specifications, test plans, and user documentation with clear traceability to requirements.
Preferred Skills:
- SAP FI CO Finance and S/4HANA FI General Ledger experience.
- Exposure to SAP Materials Management for PO management and spend analytics.
