starts of as Part- time 20 hours per week, then then will eventually move to 40 hour weeks. Hybrid 1 day a week in office from June 2026
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Generalist to support our growing medical device manufacturing and distribution organization in Dallas, TX. This role will be responsible for executing core human resources functions across the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance in a highly regulated industry, and supporting a high-performance culture across both corporate and operational teams.
The ideal candidate brings a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with experience in environments that include manufacturing, distribution, and/or healthcare-related compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations & HR Support:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters, providing guidance on policies, performance management, and conflict resolution
- Partner with leadership to foster a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace culture
- Conduct investigations and document findings in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Coordinate onboarding processes, ensuring compliance with FDA-regulated industry requirements and internal SOPs
- Assist with employer branding and talent pipeline development in competitive healthcare and manufacturing markets
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including OSHA and FDA-related workforce considerations
- Maintain accurate employee records and support internal/external audits
- Assist with development and implementation of HR policies and procedures aligned with industry regulations
Compensation, Benefits & Payroll Support:
- Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with enrollment and inquiries
- Support payroll processing in coordination with finance or external providers
- Assist in compensation analysis and benchmarking within the Dallas market and medical device industry
HR Operations & Reporting:
- Maintain and optimize HRIS systems (experience with platforms like Workday, ADP, or similar preferred)
- Generate HR metrics and reports (turnover, headcount, time-to-fill, etc.) to support business decisions
- Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance HR efficiency and employee experience
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3–6+ years of HR Generalist or HR Business Partner experience
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Experience supporting both professional and hourly workforces
Preferred:
- Experience in medical device, healthcare, manufacturing, or regulated environments
- Familiarity with FDA regulations or ISO standards (e.g., ISO 13485)
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar)
- Experience with HRIS systems and data reporting

Rate: $25-$30/hour (depends on experience level). This is a contract position with candidates expected to work 20-40 hours/ week.
