Title: Web Application Pentester (AppSec SME)
Location: Dallas, TX 100% Onsite
Duration: 12 Months Contract

Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in application penetration testing (web & APIs)
- Deep understanding of OWASP Top 10, secure coding practices, and modern attack vectors
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
- Familiarity with authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect)
- Ability to work independently, think critically, and solve complex security challenges
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth web application and API penetration testing to uncover vulnerabilities in design and implementation
- Perform security architecture reviews across applications and cloud integrations
- Evaluate emerging application security tools, standards, and authentication protocols
- Provide expert guidance on secure design patterns and architecture for web, API, and cloud systems
- Collaborate with engineering and technology SMEs to define and implement security policies and controls
- Promote a security-first mindset through awareness, training, and best practices
- Review technical design documents to ensure security requirements are embedded early
- Communicate complex security concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
