Summary

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a QC Systems Specialist for a Remote position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in Thousand Oaks, CA. This is a 24+ month contract opportunity.

This specialist role supports site business process owners, templators, and end-users of the Quality Control (QC) Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) and consumable management systems. The candidate will be responsible for supporting and troubleshooting issues across seven of the client's QC organizations, focusing on templating, template qualification, and system usage.

Responsibilities:
  • Support templating, template qualification, and use of ELN and consumable management systems
  • Troubleshoot system issues and collaborate with the technology function for timely resolution
  • Review and approve system user access, periodic reviews, and annual audit trail reviews
  • Author SOP revisions related to the supported systems
  • Review system documentation for changes, including system descriptions, design specifications, and data integrity assessments
  • Provide input to deviations and guidance on appropriate corrective/preventative actions
  • Drive alignment and standardization across the QC network
  • Lead biweekly network meetings and provide audit support
  • Coordinate system downtime windows and develop queries/reports

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in QC
  • Experience as a business process owner
  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot system issues
  • Ability to work independently and deliver right-first-time results
  • Knowledge of data integrity requirements for QC systems
  • Strong, clear, and concise communication skills
  • Document authoring and review capabilities

Desired skills:
  • Experience in Biovia SmartLab and CIMS
  • Knowledge of SQL and Tableau
  • Audit support experience

Pay range: up to $44.90 per hour
