Technical PM

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking a Technical PM for a hybrid role.

Overview:
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead and coordinate complex technology initiatives across application development, infrastructure, cloud modernization, and enterprise architecture teams. This role requires a blend of project management, technical acumen, stakeholder engagement, and governance coordination to drive strategic technology programs and ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and coordinate cross-functional technology projects involving application development, infrastructure, cloud, and architecture teams
* Partner with architects and technical leads to support solution design, technical documentation, and implementation planning
* Facilitate technical review sessions, governance meetings, and architecture discussions across multiple stakeholder groups
* Track project timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure successful execution
* Coordinate with engineering, security, infrastructure, and business teams to drive alignment and issue resolution
* Maintain project documentation, status reporting, decision logs, and governance artifacts
* Support cloud transformation and modernization initiatives, including migration and infrastructure programs
* Ensure technical feedback, action items, and architectural decisions are documented and addressed appropriately

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of Technical Project Management experience supporting software development, infrastructure, or enterprise technology initiatives
* Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, application architecture, and enterprise IT environments
* Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams and managing complex project deliverables
* Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and modern technology platforms
* Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms
* Strong stakeholder management, communication, documentation, and organizational skills
* Proven ability to manage risks, dependencies, timelines, and competing priorities in fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience supporting solution architecture teams and technical design initiatives
* Exposure to cloud platforms, including AWS services and cloud architecture concepts
* Experience coordinating technical reviews, governance processes, and enterprise technology standards
* Familiarity with application modernization, cloud migration, or large-scale transformation programs
* Understanding of networking, compute, storage, and enterprise infrastructure technologies

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
