Full Stack Developer (.NET, C#, React)

Hybrid | Austin, TX | Contract

Robert Half is hiring a Full Stack Developer to join a manufacturing organization on a long-term contract assignment. This hybrid opportunity is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail who enjoys building modern web applications across both frontend and backend layers while partnering closely with cross-functional teams in an agile setting. The role focuses on delivering reliable, scalable solutions using C#, .NET technologies, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React, with a strong emphasis on code quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and enhance full stack web applications with a focus on dependable backend services and intuitive user-facing features.

Create responsive frontend experiences using Angular or React, along with HTML and CSS, to support efficient and consistent application performance.

Develop and maintain server-side components in C# and .NET, including support for scalable service-based or microservices-oriented architectures.

Partner with product leaders, developers, and other stakeholders to refine technical approaches and resolve complex development challenges.

Participate actively in peer reviews to strengthen code quality, maintainability, and alignment with engineering standards.

Investigate defects, perform root-cause analysis, and implement improvements that increase software stability and usability.

Build automated unit and regression test coverage to support reliable releases and ongoing application quality.

Contribute within scrum ceremonies and delivery workflows that support iterative development, continuous integration, and team knowledge sharing.

Follow required workplace policies, training expectations, and operational guidelines while supporting a collaborative and accountable team environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
4 to 8 years of software engineering experience in a team-based development environment.
Hands-on experience with C#, .NET, and .NET Framework for backend application development.
Frontend development expertise using Angular or React, along with solid skills in HTML and CSS.
Experience using Microsoft development environments such as Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code.
Familiarity with GitHub version control, branch management practices, and agile scrum delivery methods.
Proven ability to write maintainable, testable code supported by unit or integration testing and clear technical documentation.
Strong English communication skills with the ability to share technical updates and collaborate effectively across teams.
