Deployment TechnicianOn-SitePosition OverviewA Deployment Technician is needed to support the setup and readiness of IT equipment for a new facility. This role focuses on preparing, deploying, and validating devices to ensure they are fully functional for end users. The technician will work closely with project teams and staff to support a smooth go-live process.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and configure laptops, desktops, and related devices according to established standards.
- Deploy equipment across various departments and ensure proper placement and setup.
- Conduct thorough testing of deployed devices to confirm full functionality.
- Troubleshoot basic hardware or setup issues and escalate when necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of device configurations, deployments, and any issues encountered.
- Collaborate with team members, project leads, and end users to support a seamless rollout.
- Provide on-site support during the go-live period to address immediate technical needs.
Skills & Attributes- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to listen actively, remain calm under pressure, and communicate clearly.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to adapt to changing priorities.
- Comfortable interacting with end users in a professional and supportive manner.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and general troubleshooting.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications- Previous IT or deployment experience required.
- Ability to lift and move equipment as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures.
- Customer-service mindset with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Powell, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.50 - $23.00/hr.
