Summary

Position : AVEVA MES Specialist (Contract)

Location : Houston , TX (Remote)

Job Description :

A global manufacturing client has procured AVEVA MES licenses to standardize and modernize operations across its worldwide facilities. The first implementation will be at their USA site, serving as the template for future rollouts. We are seeking skilled technical specialists to support the configuration, integration, and deployment of AVEVA MES for this critical initiative.

Responsibilities :

Configure and deploy AVEVA MES software to meet client requirements on the shop floor.
Conduct detailed technical workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with site teams.
Map manufacturing processes into AVEVA MES workflows and objects.
Perform system setup, configuration, and customizations within AVEVA MES.
Integrate MES with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and plant-level control systems (PLC/SCADA).
Execute unit testing, system testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
Prepare detailed technical documentation and configuration guides.
Provide on-site technical support during deployment and hypercare periods.
Troubleshoot and resolve MES-related issues as they arise.
Support creation of the global deployment template for use in future site rollouts.
Collaborate closely with functional consultants, IT, automation engineers, and client manufacturing teams.
