Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Application Architect III with deep expertise in Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS) to lead the end-to-end design and build of the FCCS Consolidations module within our Enterprise Ledger Modernization Program. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Oracle Cloud EPM/ERP and banking finance consolidations and a proven ability to deliver a production-grade consolidations solution that supports month-end close, consolidated financial statements, and external reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Lead E2E architecture, design, configuration, and build of Oracle FCCS Consolidations.
- Design ownership structures, consolidation methods, and elimination rules.
- Implement intercompany processing, matching, and eliminations.
- Configure currency translation, FX rates management, and CTA handling.
- Establish close calendars, workflows, approvals, and task orchestration.
- Design and oversee integrations with upstream GL/ERP and downstream reporting systems.
- Define data models, metadata, security, and application performance standards.
- Enable controls for regulatory, audit, and SOX compliance within FCCS processes.
- Partner with Finance, Risk, and Technology stakeholders to align requirements and milestones.
- Guide testing, cutover, hypercare, and knowledge transfer to operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Expertise in Oracle FCCS within Oracle Cloud EPM, including consolidations design and build.
- Proficiency in eliminations, intercompany processing, currency translation, and close workflows.
- Strong knowledge of finance and accounting consolidation practices in banking.
- Experience integrating FCCS with Oracle ERP/GL and reporting tools.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures.
- Demonstrated delivery of month-end and quarter-end close solutions supporting external reporting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- 7+ years in EPM/ERP solutions with significant FCCS hands-on experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience delivering FCCS at large banking or financial institutions.
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting, audit requirements, and control frameworks.
