Job Details

We are seeking a hands-on HR professional to support plant operations and partner closely with leadership on the shop floor. This role plays a critical part in driving employee relations, workforce performance, and a strong, accountable culture within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Be present on the plant floor, supporting day-to-day HR operations and building relationships with hourly and salaried employees
Partner with supervisors and plant leadership to address employee relations issues, performance concerns, and team development
Ensure consistent application of company policies, procedures, and compliance with all labor laws and regulations
Support recruiting efforts for hourly and skilled trades roles, including onboarding and workforce planning
Drive initiatives around training, performance management, and continuous improvement of HR processes
Track and analyze key workforce metrics such as turnover, attendance, and productivity to support operational goals
Worker's Compensation and must have a sense of urgency

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
5+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or plant environment
Experience supporting hourly workforces; union experience is a plus
Strong ability to build trust on the floor and influence at all levels of the organization
Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills
Experience with HRIS systems (ADP or similar) preferred
