L531 engineers develop prototypes directly with end users to validate concepts early and reduce risk, engineer high-assurance software that meets rigorous government and industry security standards, and modernize legacy systems for our sponsors. L531 engineers build secure developer platforms, integrate modeling and simulation environments, and partner with industry to accelerate software delivery
Job Responsibilities
- Write clean, maintainable code and participate in established development processes (version control, code review, documentation, and issue tracking).
- Implement and test features and bug fixes under guidance from senior engineers.
- Create and update technical documentation (setup steps and implementation notes).
- Collaborate within a cross-disciplinary team to achieve project goals.
Basic Qualifications
- Must be a student enrolled full-time in an accredited degree-seeking program in Computer Science or a related degree and continue to be enrolled full-time the semester following the internship.
- 2+ years of demonstrated programming experience
- Sustained excellence in academic performance
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with Python or C++
- Experience with conducing data analysis and creating data visualizations
- Demonstrated collaboration and communication skills
