Summary

DPP is seeking an IT Assets Coordinator for an opportunity with our client in Columbia, SC.
 
Work location: Hybrid in Columbia, SC
Duration: 3 months
Shift: Onsite Tues, Wed, Thurs
Terms: W2 Contract
 
Position Summary:
  • As an IT Assets Coordinator, you will support the full life cycle management of IT hardware, software, and mobile devices.
  • This role is responsible for maintaining accurate asset inventory records, coordinating logistics, and assisting with basic end-user support requests.
  • This position plays a key role in ensuring technology assets are properly tracked, assigned, maintained, and retired in alignment with organizational standards and operational needs.
Responsibilities:
Hardware & Software Asset Management
  • Receive, tag, and document incoming IT assets; maintain organized and secure storage areas.
  • Support equipment assignments for new hires, employee moves, and hardware replacement cycles.
  • Conduct recurring physical inventory audits for both onsite and offsite locations.
  • Track software allocations to help prevent license overutilization or unused licenses.
  • Assist with the secure, compliant disposal of electronic assets in accordance with company policies.
Mobile Devices & EndUser Equipment Support
  • Assist employees with basic setup and service requests for assigned mobile devices.
  • Monitor mobile device inventories and support monthly reporting requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce device or licensing costs when applicable.
  • Coordinate logistics for laptops and peripheral equipment with internal teams.
Audio/Visual & Vendor Coordination Support
  • Perform routine checks of conference room AV equipment and escalate issues as needed.
  • Assist with basic troubleshooting and coordinate vendor service visits.
  • Maintain vendor portals related to asset tracking and license management.
  • Support ordering processes with mobile and equipment vendors.
  • Organize and manage spare equipment inventory to ensure availability.
Client Standard Responsibilities
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned, including participation in special projects.
  • Engage in continuous learning to maintain knowledge of industry trends, management practices, and applicable bank policies and procedures.
  • Security Responsibility: Maintain consistent compliance with all security policies and procedures, including safeguarding sensitive documents, protecting workspaces, managing passwords, monitoring visitors, and responsibly using bank email and social media systems. Employees must understand when and how to report security incidents or breaches.
  • Risk Management Responsibility: Support enterprise risk management by executing daily risk and control procedures, identifying and reporting risks through the SelfIdentified Risk Portal (SIRP), collaborating with control owners, and maintaining accurate audit and assessment documentation. A strong understanding of compliance and accountability principles is essential, regardless of direct risk ownership.
Required Qualifications: 
  • Associate''s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or a related field. 
  • At least one year of experience in IT support, inventory control, supply chain, procurement, or related administrative/technical support functions. 
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong organizational and record‐keeping skills.
  • Familiarity with IT asset lifecycle management concepts.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills for hardware, mobile devices, and AV equipment.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to process compliance.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment
