Summary

< data-path-to-node="4">Key Responsibilities

  • Security Configuration & Architecture: Design, configure, and maintain Workday security groups (Role-Based, User-Based, Intersection, Segment-Based) across Core HCM, Benefits, Payroll, and Financials.

  • Policy Management: Manage Domain Security Policies (DSP) and Business Process Security Policies (BPSP) to enforce least-privilege access and data confidentiality.

  • Audit & Compliance: Perform regular User Access Reviews (UAR) and Segregation of Duties (SoD) evaluations to support internal/external audit activities and regulatory compliance (SOX, GDPR).

  • User & Integration Access Management: Oversee user provisioning/deprovisioning, assign roles, and configure Integration System User (ISU) / Integration System Security Group (ISSG) permissions for external tools.

  • Release & Change Management: Support bi-annual Workday feature releases by assessing security impacts, testing security updates, and migrating security changes using Object Transporter or iLoads.

  • Troubleshooting & Support: Resolve complex security access issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and provide technical guidance for end-user requests.

  • Experience: 3 6+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting Workday Security frameworks.

  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Workday Security Architecture, including security groups, domain policy setup, business process security, and organizational structures.

  • Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, Segregation of Duties (SoD), and audit standards (SOX, HIPAA, GDPR).

  • Integrations & Reporting: Familiarity with Workday Reporting (Custom Reports, Calculated Fields) for security auditing, and working knowledge of Integration Security (ISISSGs).

  • Certifications: Workday Security Certification or Workday Core HCM Certification is strongly preferred.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication, and the capacity to collaborate across cross-functional HR, Finance, and IT teams.

  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources, or related field.
