RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client is looking for an Oracle Applications Database Engineer with expertise in supporting OCI, EBS, and Fusion environments This is a W2 hourly contract opportunity and can be worked remotely within the US.
Summary:
This client is seeking an experience Oracle Applications Database Engineer with at least 6-8 years of experience to support and enhance their mission-critical Oracle Applications focused on OCI, Cloud Fusion and EBS database environments. This role requires deep technical expertise in Oracle Database 19c, OCI, Cloud Fusion, EBS 12.2.9, and a solid understanding of infrastructure on AIX systems. The ideal candidate is a team player who can work independently, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and is flexible to support after-hours work when required.
Responsibilities:
* Support existing Oracle EBS production environments and newly implemented Oracle Cloud infrastructure
* Assist with ongoing OCI initiatives
* Manage support requests and service tickets
* Work closely with customers and coordinate handoff to offshore support teams
* Support integrations and help diagnose OCI/OIC-related problems
* Will be working independently, managing Oracle tickets, and performing operational support tasks without extensive supervision
REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum 6-8 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Applications DBA with a focus on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle EBS
* Extensive experience in OCI and Oracle EBS 12.2.9, including patching and upgrades
* Must have experience supporting OCI as they transition to from legacy on-prem to Oracle Cloud
* Solid background in Unix (AIX) system administration and scripting
* Strong proficiency with Oracle Database 19c in production environments
* Experience with Cloud Fusion Financials is also preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
